Description
Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin (MCH) is a measurement in a complete blood count (CBC) that indicates the average amount of hemoglobin within a red blood cell; expressed in picograms (pg).  Low MCH levels may suggest iron deficiency or other anemias; while high levels could indicate macrocytic anemia or vitamin B12 or folate deficiencies. The normal range for MCH is typically between 27 and 33 pg per cell.
